Grubhub Goes Orange

August 24, 2021

To celebrate, we’re treating every diner in New York City, Chicago, and Boston to dinner from their favorite local restaurants

Don’t get caught doing a double take when you reach for the Grubhub app today. It’s not your eyes – we’ve officially jumped in feet first to our new orange branding and logo! As we announced last month, we’re joining the Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET) family with our new look, and today’s the day you’ll see a lot more of our new citrus-colored branding throughout our app, website, and most anywhere else you find the Grubhub logo.

To celebrate and pay homage to a few special cities – we’re looking at you New York City, Chicago, and Boston – we’ll be taking over and bringing our new look with us. And even better, dinner is on us for the night! If you’re out and about and see a pop of orange with a QR code attached, be sure to scan it and claim $20 towards dinner tonight between 6-10pm ET/ 5-9pm CT. Or for those unable to scout it out IRL, use the code tied to one of the three cities and order in on us. Check out the details here!

In addition to local influencers and pops of orange around town, be on the lookout for a little extra orange throughout the day.

  • New Yorkers can catch a wave of orange in Times Square on the Nasdaq wall and traveling across town on the city’s famous double decker busses.
  • In our hometown of Chicago, the iconic Daley Plaza and Buckingham Fountains and the Orange Line making its way from the Chicago Loop to Midway Airport, will don our new color.
  • Home to our newest office, those in Boston will want to pay close attention to the sailboats in the Harbor for the sea of orange taking over.

Whether it’s your go-to pad thai, a batch of ice cream sandwiches for the family, or an opportunity to try something new, we’re excited for our diners to enjoy the moment with us and celebrate our fresh, new brand!
